Our client, a leading player in the eCommerce industry, is seeking a Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the smooth operation of data center components. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.

Hardware Technician

6-11 Month Contract, potential conversion

Florence, KY (onsite)

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM EST

Compensation and Benefits

$25/HR + Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401K Savings Options & Weekly Pay

Job Responsibilities

1. Test and repair data center components using various testing rigs and jigs.
2. Record test results in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
3. Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed.
4. Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
5. Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and achievement of daily/weekly goals.

Minimum Requirements

1. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
2. Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
3. Basic to intermediate system administration skills.
4. Ability to execute small projects independently and collaborate on larger projects.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
