Job summary

Ciena Corporation in the United States is seeking a Junior Field Service Project Manager to support the CGSI team. You will assist with project planning, execution, and closeout alongside senior managers to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with project objectives.

This role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, schedule management, and timely deliverables, with opportunities to grow in project leadership while supporting EF&I activities and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or right to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's or technical degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to adjust work schedules to meet project demands, including after-hours for overseas projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for key meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, execution, and closeout under supervision.
• Support Senior Project Managers with EF&I project financials, schedules, scope and quality management.
• Coordinate resources and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
