Job summary
Danfoss Drives is seeking a Junior Service Application Engineer (m/f/d) to support commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of drive systems. The role offers hands-on field experience and structured training under experienced engineers, with travel across Germany and regional flexibility in Essen, Offenbach, or Hamburg.
You should be a qualified electrical technician with German fluency and English skills, hold a Class B license, and be prepared for 40–50% travel.
Qualifications
- Qualified electrical technician with vocational qualification in electrical engineering.
- State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman preferred or willingness to pursue.
- Strong electrical engineering knowledge and systematic problem solving.
- Customer-facing mindset with strong communication skills.
- Valid Class B driver's license; travel 40–50% initially.
- Fluent German and good English.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding and training on drive systems and service portfolio.
- Support Germany-wide customer assignments during training and then manage own customers.
- Rotate through service and support functions.
- Develop independence in service activities: commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades.
- Support customer projects and solve problems on site.
- Build application expertise and customer-facing skills.
