Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field and office teams in geotechnical projects across North America. You will assist with drawings, takeoffs, scheduling, and safety processes while gaining exposure to underground tunneling operations.

The role offers hands-on experience on large-scale projects, opportunities to travel across the U.S. and Canada, and a strong path for professional development within a top construction company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (e.g., civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, CM).
• Willing to travel and relocate across the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements for materials and work.
• Assist in preparing work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA documentation.
• Provide solutions related to underground tunneling and construction operations.
• Participate in safety reviews and toolbox talks.
• Order and schedule material deliveries and coordinate work groups.
