OCT Consulting LLC seeks a Contract Closeout Specialist (Junior) to support Federal Government contracts. The role requires 2–3 years of closeout experience, FAR knowledge, and DHS/CBP familiarity. Remote work is allowed, with onsite in Washington, DC at least two days per week.

Responsibilities include closing various contract types, preparing BCMs, SF30 modifications, FPDS-NG records, and reviewing SAP data and UDOs. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of federal contract closeout experience.
• Familiarity with FAR and DHS/CBP policies.
• Experience with closing FFP, T&M, LH and cost contracts is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with CBP personnel, Program Offices, Auditors, and Contractor POCs to facilitate closeouts.
• Locate and assist in identifying CBP contracts eligible for closeout.
• Ensure physical contract completion by securing all required written documents and concurrences in the contract file.
• Interpret financial reports, including SAP data, invoices, disbursements, and Undelivered Orders (UDOs).
• Receive and process requests to de-obligate excess funding.
• Draft closeout documents such as BCMs, SF30 modifications, and FPDS-NG records.
• Update databases, spreadsheets, and systems to reflect accurate closeout actions.
