Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Westborough, MA is seeking a Scientist to perform hands-on environmental testing in our laboratory, using GC-MS and standard chemistry methods to ensure data quality. You will document results and maintain equipment.

We seek candidates with a Chemistry/Biochemistry background and at least 8 chemistry credit hours with labs, able to stand long hours and wear PPE. This is a full-time, on-site role with shift Fri-Mon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field.
• Must have 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with standing, odors and PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with GC-MS to analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
