Job summary

CDM Smith in Houston is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group and apply engineering skills to sustainable water projects. You will support planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, collaborating with senior engineers and gaining valuable field experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Support site assessments, field investigations, and project studies.
Assist with design development and adjust parameters per project needs.
Perform water quality analyses, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and other analyses.
Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for meetings.
Use ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel to support design and analysis.
Office and in-field coordination to support regional lead rehabilitation projects.
Participate in fieldwork and construction management across the project lifecycle.
