Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is an entry-level Associate Graduate Engineer role designed for recent engineering graduates entering the professional workforce. This position involves designing engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects while developing creative solutions addressing electrical, structural, civil, and construction-related challenges.

Office locations include San Antonio, TX, Kansas City, MO, and St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• US driver’s license and US work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects in line with specs and codes.
• Develop innovative solutions for electrical, structural, civil, and construction challenges.
• Manage all design lifecycle phases from initiation through construction closeout.
• Prepare detailed engineering documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Travel as needed, typically under 25%.
