The selected candidate will support clients in matters related to workplace discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage violations. Duties

1. Conduct client intake interviews and assess legal claims
2. Draft litigation documents including court filings and administrative charges
3. Represent clients at agency and court hearings, and mediations
4. Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel
5. Manage assigned litigation cases under partner supervision
6. Conduct legal research and write supporting memoranda
7. Track deadlines and maintain detailed case records
8. Participate in client development activities as needed

Requirements

1. Must have taken the Bar Exam and earned a UBE score of 270 or higher
2. Recent exam takers awaiting results may be considered if law school GPA is 3.5+
3. Bar admission in New York or a New England state preferred (or willingness to apply)
4. Residency or relocation plan to an eligible state is required
5. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel
6. Ability to maintain a private, professional home workspace

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

UBE score of at least 270 required

Active Bar admission preferred
