Securityhunter, Inc. is seeking a junior engineer to join our Baltimore-based team on a hybrid schedule. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to designs for electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.

You will also develop testing plans, manuals, and CAD markups, while supporting proposals and on-site QC when needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, precise documentation, and ongoing learning in information technology and security

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience in electronic or physical security is a plus.
• Ability to read and create blueprints and designs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Pass government background check.
• Designs for electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV, IDS).
• Creates system testing plans and operation manuals.
• Reviews designs for accuracy and quality.
• Assists business development with proposals.
• Creates mark-ups for CAD operators and answers field questions.
• Travels for QC inspections or system testing.
