The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and be proficient in various technical areas, including computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and field service. This role involves working with security systems, surveillance equipment, and low-voltage installations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.Responsibilities* Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems.* Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.* Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks.* Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts.* Collaborate with team members to design and implement new systems tailored to client needs.* Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations.* Provide training to clients on the operation of installed systems.* Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.Experience* Proven experience as a service technician in the electronics or security industry.* Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.* Familiarity with sensors, alarm systems, telecommunication equipment, and remote access software.* Experience with cabling for low-voltage applications is preferred.* Mechanical knowledge related to construction and installation processes is a plus.* Skills in locksmithing are advantageous for certain security system installations.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
