Securityhunter, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer with strong experience in electronic security systems. The role focuses on design, testing, and documentation for federal security solutions including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

You will create system designs and testing plans, review drawings for accuracy, and support business development with proposals while coordinating with CAD operators and field personnel. This is a hybrid remote position in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in electronic security is required.
• Engineering degree or commensurate experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pass government background checks.
• Design electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection).
• Create system testing plans for electronic security systems.
• Create operation manuals for electronic security systems.
• Review designs for accuracy and quality.
• Assist business development with proposals.
• Create CAD markups and provide direction to CAD operators.
• Answer field personnel questions by phone.
• Assist help desk staff by phone when needed.
• Travel for quality control inspections or system testing as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of new and existing products from established vendors.
