Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Estimator I to assist in preparing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects in Coppell, TX. The role supports senior estimators and works on small to medium projects under general supervision.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 0–2 years of estimating experience, with basic exposure to Accubid estimating. Travel is up to 10% and a strong client-focused attitude is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects, preferably in electrical construction.
Basic experience/exposure in Accubid estimating.

Responsibilities

Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Receive instructions from senior estimators to review scope and requirements.
Prepare estimates by calculating takeoffs and entering data into estimating system; verify accuracy.
Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and review for completeness.
Provide detailed scope, pricing, and technical reviews to Lead Estimator and Estimating Manager.
Maintain working documents and templates for estimating assumptions.
