Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Coppell, TX is seeking an Estimator I to assist in preparing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will learn to bid by reviewing specs, performing takeoffs, and using established estimating templates under supervision.

You will work with suppliers and subcontractors to solicit quotes, review pricing against plans, and support senior estimators with scope and technical reviews for the bid package. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of estimating experience on commercial construction projects.
• Basic experience with Accubid estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Prepare estimates using established procedures and complete takeoffs.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and review quotes.
• Provide detailed scope, technical requirements, and pricing reviews to leadership.
• Draft scope letters and maintain backup files for estimating assumptions.
