Job summary

Dashiell Corporation seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our project team and contribute to design and engineering tasks for substations. You will work under direct supervision to develop wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and field markups, while applying industry standards and learning through practical site exposure.

You will build hands-on experience with relay coordination, ground grid design, transformer sizing, and load-flow studies, supported by senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain within one year of hire is required.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents and drawings for substation projects under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations: relay burden, load flow, short circuit under supervision.
• Learn and apply standards including NEC, NESC, IEEE and ANSI in project work.
• Travel to project sites and support engineering tasks as needed.
