Job summary

Dashiell Corporation seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our project team. You will work on engineering and design duties under supervision, contributing to design documents, wiring diagrams, and material lists for substation projects while applying engineering principles.

You will develop skills in relay burden, load flow, short circuit analyses, grounding, transformer sizing, and site work, under the guidance of senior engineers and with opportunities for hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; power focus preferred.
• EIT certificate required or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents, drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs for substation projects under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations: relay burden, load flow, short circuit, ground grid design.
• Learn and apply industry standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI) on projects.
• Spend time at job sites to gain hands-on substation knowledge and training.
