Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting in design from conceptual phase to completion, reviewing drawings, using CAD tools, and supporting field inspections and project management. Strong communication, teamwork and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a recognized, accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Engineers in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the country where this position is located.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
• Assists with modifying and reviewing production drawings for a variety of projects.
• Assists in designing electrical components for project needs and requirements.
• Applies basic knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures.
• Assists with research and data required by project managers.
• Assists with correcting and updating drawings in CAD software.
• Assists in client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration.
• Performs field inspections, measurements or calculations for clients.
