Job summary

You will work with project teams to adapt electrical plans to budgets and client needs. Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited degree and internship experience. EIT preferred, with strong communication and teamwork. Growth in a large, employee-owned firm with diverse projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• FE exam completed or in progress.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge in standard electrical engineering techniques, principles and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EIT certification preferred.
• GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical design from concept through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for a variety of facilities.
• Assist in designing electrical components per project needs and requirements.
• Apply basic knowledge of electrical concepts, codes, and procedures.
• Assists with client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration for the design of multiple facilities.
• Assist in performing field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
