Job summary

Amentum is seeking an entry-level Electrical Component Test Engineer in Indiana (Crane). You will perform supervised design and testing tasks, develop test circuits for microelectronic components, and contribute to PCB design and automated test programs.

You will collect data, participate in reviews, and assist in reporting, while interfacing with customers to ensure requirements are met and documentation standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with understanding of microelectronics and components.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, development, and review tasks with close supervision.
• Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for microelectronic components.
• Design and development of printed circuit boards and automated test programs.
• Collect data on test components and reviews; assist in reports and specifications.
• Interface with customers in design reviews to meet requirements.
• Verify compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
