Job summary

Amentum in Indiana seeks an Entry Level Radiation Test Engineer to perform tests on radiation hardened microelectronic components under supervision. You will design test circuits, develop automated test programs, collect data, and contribute to reports while learning from senior engineers.

Bachelor’s in EE, physics, or related field; lab equipment experience; strong communication and problem solving; ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or physics.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated and collaborative across multiple functional areas.
• Well organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work with mentoring from senior engineers and leadership.
• Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions.
• Understanding of microelectronics concepts, theories, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, development, and review tasks with close supervision.
• Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for microelectronic components.
• Design and development of printed circuit boards.
• Develop automated test programs.
• Collect data on test components and review results.
• Contribute to sections of analyses and design reviews.
• Assist in preparing reports and correspondence.
• Track and maintain project development status.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and meetings to meet requirements.
