Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineer with EPOS and ESD experience in the Crane, Indiana area to support testing and validation of microelectronic components. You will design fixtures, develop data-collection software, and contribute to test plans and reports for military-standard ESD/EOS testing.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and eligibility for a Secret clearance. Occasional travel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with testing microelectronic components (resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs).
• Configure and adapt custom software on ESD/EPOS test equipment for specific setups.
• Proficient with computer systems and software applications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; willing to travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design development and coordinate manufacturing of test fixtures.
• Develop and configure software for data collection and analysis.
• Write test proposals and test plans for ESD/EPOS testing of microelectronics.
• Write operating and test procedures for ESD/EPOS equipment.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations for design reviews.
• Write sections of test reports with setups, data, and analysis.
• Research test methodologies and equipment conforming to military standards.
• Verify adherence to engineering documentation standards.
