Job summary

The-Intellekt-Group is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician – Junior for the USSTRATCOM/55 SCS DRSN. The role involves day-to-day operation of network switches, phones, and infrastructure, plus configuration control and end-user support. Temp position with potential full-time commitment when available.

Ideal candidates have 0–4 years IT/telephony experience, TS/SCI clearance, and IAT Level II certification, and are willing to travel CONUS for training and deployments.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years in Information Technology and/or Internet Protocol Telephony skillsets.
• Experience with telecom systems in a command center environment (Cryptographic Systems, DRSN, Tech Control, C2 Computer Systems, Nuclear C2).
• IAT Level II Certification is preferred.
• Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
• Willingness to attend DRSN DSS-2A training in AZ and Cisco IP Telephony courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to maintain, monitor, and modify DRSN and sub-systems per manufacturer manuals and DoD/AF instructions.
• Support maintenance, switch operation, administration, fault isolation, and service restoration.
• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Manage databases: subscriber adds/moves/deletes, report creation, backups, purging of files.
• Assist with security controls, RMF/A&A, and system hardening per DISA guidance.
