Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Level One Technician for our Truck Service team. With nearly 3,000 technicians and 280 locations nationwide, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, delivering reliable service to keep travelers on the road.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and safety. Candidates should have basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and flexible hours; ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Dedicated individual who works well with others.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred.
• Heavy duty ASE certifications not required, but a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services andspecialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.
