Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Level one Technician for its Truck Service team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner, serving a wide network of TA locations across the country.

This role requires ability to follow standards, work with a team, and ensure customers are returned to the road safely and efficiently. Strong communication, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license are required; prior truck

Qualifications

• Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred.
• Heavy duty ASE certifications not required, but a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
