Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a level one Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers across our nationwide Network. You will be part of a team focused on delivering reliable service to travelers and commercial fleets.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, knowledge of truck service standards, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. ASE certifications are a plus, basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred.
• Heavy duty ASE certifications not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, efficient service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose wear conditions and advise customers with TSA/Manager recommendations.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
