Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers across our nationwide network. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair in a professional, customer-focused environment, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for travelers and fleets.

The role requires basic computer skills, good communication, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver’s license is required; prior repair or parts shop experience is preferred, and

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers with TSA or Manager.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
