Job summary

TravelCenters of America’s Truck Service team is seeking a level one Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers at our facilities. You’ll provide accurate service, follow safety guidelines and ensure we return travelers to the road better than they came.

Ideal candidates have verifiable truck service experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certifications are a plus, and travel centers offer training opportunities and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred.
• Heavy duty ASE certifications are a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
