Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a level one Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers across our TA Truck Service network. You will join a team that delivers reliable service to keep travelers on the road and our locations running smoothly.

As a technician, you’ll use broad product knowledge, follow safety guidelines, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Truck service experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and, with TSA or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
