Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX is seeking recent engineering graduates to join our Design organization as a DFT/Test Engineer. You will participate in global design teams, define and validate built-in test features, and support test pattern delivery for manufacturing and qualification.

You will collaborate with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Fab to ensure robust post-silicon pattern debug and timely production release.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (0-2 yrs) with a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (EE/CE/CS/EET)
• Proficiency in Python, Verilog, Perl, Tcl, and Unix
• Experience with ATPG, DFT tools and pattern debug functions is a plus
• Familiarity with ATE VLSI tester programming (J973, Tiger/Catalyst, UltraFex, Verigy 93000) is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams to meet schedules
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet customer needs

Responsibilities

• Participate in global design teams bringing new microprocessor based SoC designs through test requirements to production
• Assist in test pattern specification and creation, pre-silicon verification, and post-silicon pattern debug
• Support test pattern delivery for manufacturing test, qualification, yield, and product performance
• Interface with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Fab for the design team
• Specify built-in test features, implement, and validate the design for DFT patterns
• Deliver all DFT test patterns for the product
