Talanto is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage Linux systems, automation tooling, and cloud services. You will monitor, tune, and scale infrastructure while collaborating with teams to deploy reliable solutions. Strong scripting, AWS, and container orchestration experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with AWS or an AWS Certification.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Linux systems administration and configuration.
• Experience with Cloud Networking and Security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Experience with DNS and web server configurations.
• Ability to use AI to quickly come up to speed on large codebases.
• Knowledge of automating infrastructure with Gitlab, Terraform and CDK.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring and verify hardware and service availability.
• Conduct ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization.
• Provision and configure hardware, services, and storage per standards.
• Develop automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Provide Tier II support for incidents and requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and contribute to knowledge base and docs.
• Promote Cloud technologies and best practices across teams.
• Suggest solutions to grow the business and delight clients.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
