Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Software Development/Operations Engineer to design, develop and maintain high-performance web and back-end services. You will build public REST APIs with Python and Node, drive automated testing, and improve scalability, reliability, and security across distributed fleets and platforms.

The role emphasizes cloud-native practices, Docker/Kubernetes, and strong problem-solving within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in backend development and RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud-native environments and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and data structures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications.
Develop public REST APIs using Python and Node for inter-service and inter-system communication.
Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies across unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and performance tests.
Identify bottlenecks and tech debt; drive scalability, stability improvements.
Develop and enhance automation frameworks for testing, monitoring, auto-scaling, CI/CD.
Conduct code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and document root causes and fixes.
Maintain design docs, run books, change management, and readiness plans.
