Job summary

Businessolver is seeking a DevOps Engineer I in the United States to manage Linux systems, AWS workloads, and automation. You will monitor, tune performance, and help scale our cloud infrastructure while collaborating with product and security teams.

The role emphasizes scripting in Python/Bash, infrastructure as code with GitLab, Terraform, and CDK, and container orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes. You’ll contribute to robust, scalable services and support a fast paced, growth‑minded company

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AWS experience or AWS cert.
• Bachelor in CS, MIS, or equivalent.
• 2+ years Linux sysadmin experience.
• Strong scripting: Python and Bash.
• Cloud networking and security best practices.
• Monitoring and alerting experience.
• DNS and web server configuration.
• Ability to use AI to learn large codebases.
• Automation with GitLab, Terraform, CDK.
• Containers and orchestration: ECS/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Motivated, innovative, and growth-minded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems; verify hardware, resources, and processes.
• Tune performance; upgrade infra; optimize resources.
• Provision and configure hardware, services, and storage.
• Develop automated admin tasks and scripts.
• Provide Tier II support and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain knowledge base and documentation.
• Promote cloud technologies and best practices.
• Propose solutions to grow the business and delight clients.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
