Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Demand Planner I to ensure the right products are available when needed. This role owns customer forecasting within the planning system and works with Sales, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams to meet fill rate, inventory, and service objectives.

You will analyze demand trends, POS data, and forecasts to develop accurate plans that drive purchasing and inventory performance, while supporting new product launches and monthly S&OP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, inventory management, or related discipline.
• APICS/ASCM certification (or progress toward certification) preferred.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory planning, or S&OP processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts within the planning system to support inventory, service, and fill rate objectives.
• Analyze system-generated forecasts, POS data, sales trends, and market insights to improve forecast accuracy.
• Align demand forecasts with sales forecasts and address variances to support inventory optimization and business goals.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders to maintain customer service levels and resolve issues.
• Support S&OP process by preparing analyses, reports, and data for monthly Demand Review Workshops.
