Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Science Consultant to support our Army Client. Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to meet business needs; build data models and reports from ERP/legacy systems; and coordinate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.

You must have 2+ years of hands-on development, strong SQL/Python/Pyspark skills, Databricks and Palantir Foundry familiarity, and an active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
• Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
• Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
• Build data models and reports using datasets from ERP and legacy systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
