Job summary

SMX seeks a Data Science Consultant to support our Army client. You will design solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, PySpark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities that meet business requirements.

You will build data models and reports from ERP and legacy systems. You will coordinate with stakeholders to determine reporting needs, convert them into technical specifications, and define test cases to verify results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and PySpark.
• Experience in data engineering, data science and data analytics.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Palantir Foundry.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture: AWS/Azure.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design new solutions using Databricks and Palantir Foundry to meet business requirements.
• Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
• Define test cases and verify results to ensure solutions function as designed.
• Build data models and reports from ERP and legacy systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs.
