Job summary

Westlake Financial Services is seeking entry-level Pre-30 day collector in Dallas, TX. The role centers on outbound calls to collect on 1-30 day delinquent accounts and inbound customer service. Promotion possible within 6 months based on performance.

The job offers in-office work with potential remote options depending on performance, and requires commuting within 40 miles of Dallas. Excellent negotiation and listening skills are valuable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required.
• Good communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Proper grammar and email etiquette.
• Type a minimum of 35 WPM.
• Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is welcomed but not required.
• Minimum one year customer service experience in a high call volume, auto dialer environment preferred.
• Auto Collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed daily goals and monthly goals.
• Initiate outbound calls that are effective in scope, and lead to successful payment or timely arrangement to satisfy the account delinquency.
• The ability to balance both incoming customer service/collection inquiries from Westlake customers, while delivering an exceptional level of service.
• Work with Westlake customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts.
