Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Cloud Network team, building and operating cloud network infrastructure. This is an excellent entry point to grow skills in distributed systems and network engineering while contributing to scalable, high-performance solutions.

You will work with experienced engineers, take ownership of features, and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship to deepen your technical foundation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with building or operating software systems (internships/school projects/1 year+).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure or distributed systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Git and basic CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering efforts on cloud network features and larger projects.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and contribute to design docs.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to broaden system understanding.
• Actively learn distributed network systems through mentorship and collaboration.
• Engage in cross-team initiatives like tech talks and book clubs to broaden exposure.
