Job summary

Crusoe is building cloud network infrastructure and is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Cloud Network team. This early-career role offers growth in distributed systems and network engineering while delivering scalable, reliable networking features.

You will learn from experienced engineers, gain increasing ownership of features, and contribute across the stack—from cloud primitives to user-facing APIs—through mentorship and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building or operating software systems (internships, school projects, or ~1 year).
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure or distributed systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, source control (Git), testing, and basic CI/CD or build processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cloud network features and larger projects as defined by product and engineering leads.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and contribute to design documents.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to deepen system understanding.
• Grow technical skills through mentorship, pairing, and collaboration.
• Engage in cross-team initiatives like tech talks and open source exploration.
