Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems in San Francisco is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to help build and operate our cloud storage infrastructure. You will grow your skills in distributed systems and storage engineering while delivering reliable storage solutions with guidance from senior engineers.

You will contribute to cloud storage features, write clean, tested code, participate in reviews, and learn storage primitives, networking basics, and CI/CD practices in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Foundational technical skills with building or operating software systems.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure or distributed systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Java or Go and Linux fundamentals.
• Growth mindset with eagerness to learn storage systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a team setting.
• Familiarity with core software engineering practices like code reviews and testing.
• Experience with storage technologies or protocols is a plus.
