Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Cloud Storage team in San Francisco, building distributed storage infrastructure and cloud APIs. You will learn cloud storage primitives and contribute to scalable, reliable storage solutions.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, taking on increasing ownership of features, with mentorship, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration to accelerate your growth in storage systems and distributed computing.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in building or operating software systems.
• Exposure to distributed systems and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn storage systems and modern storage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cloud storage features and smaller scoped components.
• Write clean, tested code and contribute to design docs.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Learn from senior engineers and expand knowledge of distributed storage.
• Collaborate across teams on initiatives like tech talks and open source exploration.
