Job summary

KBR is seeking a Jr Full-stack Software Developer to help build secure, cloud-native applications. You'll work on end-to-end lifecycles using Kubernetes or Docker, and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitOps practices to enhance security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or above.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in web-based development.
• 2 years of Kubernetes or Docker experience.
• Experience with Next.js and Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/DevOps practices.
• Experience with HTML/JavaScript.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with AWS and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes/Docker lifecycles.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security in mind.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to architect containerized cloud apps.
• Apply GitOps principles for automated deployment.
• Leverage AWS and other clouds for reliability and security.
• Ensure logging, monitoring and security checks throughout.
