Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to support the design and development of civil site projects under licensed engineers. This full-time role offers exposure to stormwater, earthwork, paving, and utilities while pursuing licensure.

You will assist with CAD documents, coordinate with internal teams, and participate in field observations to validate designs. A bachelor’s in civil engineering and an EIT target within six months are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• EIT obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Revit/BIM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site development design plans, including grading, drainage, paving, and utility layouts.
• Perform basic engineering calculations related to stormwater, earthwork, and utility systems.
• Support the development of construction documents using CAD software (e.g., Civil 3D).
• Compile and review technical data, reports, and permitting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and disciplines to support project delivery.
• Participate in field visits and site observations to support design validation and construction efforts.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Learn and apply applicable codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Support engineers in responding to client and contractor inquiries.
