Job summary

Ardurra seeks an Entry-Level Civil Engineer in Houston, TX to support municipal Public Works projects. You will assist with design, documentation, field work, and coordination through planning, design, and construction phases.

The role requires a Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree, 0–1 year of experience (internship OK), and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS. EIT preferred and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 0–1 year of engineering or related experience (internship preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of municipal Public Works projects, including water mains, sanitary sewer, transmission lines, and drainage.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with analysis and design of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Assist with plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with utility coordination and relocation efforts.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and coordination with municipalities, utilities and agencies.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction‑phase services including review of submittals and contractor questions.
• Support project teams to deliver high‑quality municipal projects.
