Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• 0–1 year of engineering or related experience; internship preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS; EIT preferred or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of municipal Public Works projects including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, transmission lines, roadway utilities, paving and drainage infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with analysis and design of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with utility coordination, including identification and resolution of utility conflicts and relocations.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and coordination with municipalities, utility providers, and other agencies.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction-phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high-quality projects for municipal clients.
