Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team in San Antonio, TX. The role offers hands-on experience on municipal infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and drainage systems, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You will develop technical skills across planning, design, and construction phases, with exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS, while pursuing professional certification (EIT preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–1 years of experience in engineering or related fields (internship experience preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS; EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of municipal Public Works projects, including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, transmission lines, roadway utilities, paving and roadway improvements, and drainage infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with analysis and design of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with utility coordination, including identification and resolution of utility conflicts and relocations.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and coordination efforts with municipalities, utility providers, and other agencies.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction‑phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high‑quality projects for municipal clients.
