Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team in College Station, TX. This role provides hands-on experience across municipal infrastructure design, including water and sewer utilities, roadways, drainage, and related utilities, with mentorship from senior engineers throughout planning, design, and construction phases.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and have 0–1 year of experience; EIT is preferred or obtainable within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–1 years of experience in engineering or related fields (internship preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS preferred.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of municipal Public Works projects, including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, transmission lines, roadway utilities, paving and drainage infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with analysis and design of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with utility coordination, including identification and resolution of utility conflicts and relocations.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and coordination efforts with municipalities, utility providers, and other agencies.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction‑phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high‑quality projects for municipal clients.
