Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Traffic team in the Dallas area. You will support a licensed Civil Engineer, learn the company’s practices, and contribute to design, calculations, plans, and specifications for public infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes learning software tools, preparing reports, and coordinating with agency staff to deliver projects on time and within budget. Start options include January 2026 or May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent; ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to learn and apply design software and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in design of public infrastructure work.
• Provide technical, day-to-day design support to Project Engineer; draft support for plans.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids; create exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Open Roads, HEC RAS.
• Follow internal QA/QC procedures and standards; learn construction methods.
