Job summary

Bohler’s Rochester, NY office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn and grow. You’ll design land development sites, collaborate with mentors, and support stormwater and utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

You’ll gain hands-on experience on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, with professional development and learning programs shaping your career in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–1+ years of site design/permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred; training provided if not yet proficient.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land development site design from concept through construction.
• Work with engineers, designers, and project managers on varied sites (commercial, residential, mixed-use).
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Support stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in Bohler’s Learning & Development programs.
