Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil / Environmental Engineer to collaborate with senior staff on evaluating and specifying engineering plans for water resources and stormwater projects. You will participate in fieldwork and assist with basic design tasks while ensuring adherence to codes and standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering and 0–2 years of experience, with a willingness to learn, travel as needed, and work at our VA locations (Richmond or Roanoke).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
• 0–2 years of experience; co-op/internship preferred.
• Willingness to perform field work and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering disciplines under guidance of senior staff.
• Perform field work and site visits as directed.
• Assist with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater design.
