Job summary

Granite Construction Company is seeking a civil/estimating support professional for Anchorage, AK, to provide technical engineering and cost input for heavy civil projects in and around Anchorage and Fairbanks.

You will assist with controls, interpret drawings, and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with contracts, budgets, schedules, and codes. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of relevant experience and strong MS Office and AGTEK Take-off skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–2 years of construction estimating, engineering, or field experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AGTEK Take-off software; scheduling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret drawings for craft workers to ensure specifications are followed.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation records and status reports for accuracy.
• Provide technical support for project material controls and delivery dates to minimize costs.
• Develop quantity take-offs, material price lists, and labor costs for estimates.
